These apply when you join Room8 as a creator, on top of the rest of our policies. In short: what you make stays yours, upload only what you have the right to, and be open about anything you earn.
You need a Room8 account with a confirmed email address and a username, and you must be at least 18. One creator account per person.
Your creator page is public at room8.store/u/<your username>. It shows your name, username, picture, bio, headline and links, and later the rooms you publish.
You keep ownership of everything you upload: 3D models, scans, photos and videos.
So that we can run the service, you give Room8 a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, copy, convert (for example compress a model or resize a photo), display and share your content on Room8, and to show your published rooms in Room8's own marketing with credit to you. The licence ends when you delete the content or leave, except for marketing already published.
Only content you made yourself or have the right to use. Don't upload other people's 3D models, photos or designs unless their licence allows it.
Don't upload scans or photos that show other people, their faces or private information without their permission, or anything illegal, hateful, sexual, violent, misleading or harmful (including malware).
Files are checked when they arrive. We may review anything you upload.
Rooms link to pieces sold on Room8. If you're paid, earn commission or were given products for a room, you must say so clearly, as the US Federal Trade Commission's Endorsement Guides require. Room8 labels rooms that link to products.
Joining doesn't by itself entitle you to payment. Any commission or payout programme will come with its own terms, which you'll be asked to accept separately.
We may hide or remove content, or suspend a creator account, if it breaks these terms or the law, or if someone credibly reports that it infringes their rights. We'll tell you why, and you can ask us to look again by contacting us.
Each creator gets 2 GB of storage for their files. Files are kept while you're a creator. Keep your own copies: Room8 isn't a backup service.
You can leave the creator programme at any time from Creator settings. Your files are deleted when you leave, and your account stays. Deleting your Room8 account deletes your files too.
If these terms change, we'll show you the new version and ask you to accept it before you upload again. If you don't accept, you can leave the programme.
